This GT3 will also be shown during the Wheels event at Mariënwaerd on The Collectables' stand!
To enjoy a lot or for the collection, because with only 77,500km and no roll cage or track history. A 911 GT3 Touring avant-la-lettre with a slightly more luxurious interior. This Dutch delivered Porsche GT3 was delivered in June 2003 by Porsche Rotterdam (Hoogenboom) and is in very good condition. The Porsche is an original and damage-free copy of the most extreme 996 model. In black and with the right options (air conditioning, radio and the beautiful leather Recaro racing seats). This is a second-generation 996 GT3, easily recognisable by the updated headlights and horizontal rear spoiler (the first generation had a ‘curl’). Six-piston brake calipers were fitted to the front axle and power increased to 381bhp. A total of 2,313 of these 996.2 GT3s were built. Above all, it is the steering, handling and sound that sets this GT3 apart from other 911s. Already after 500 metres, you feel that this is something special because of the low seating in the Recaros and the raw sound of the primal racing block.
The previous last owner owned the car for 5.5 years and drove just 1,500 km during that period. The current owner bought this GT3 a 4 years ago from The Collectables and (thankfully) drove it a bit more, but the mileage is still very attractive and fully traceable! The complete history is present which shows that no savings were ever made on maintenance, the current owner invested another 13,000 euros in maintenance such as coolers, tyres, detailing and had the bottom fully waxed. After all, a GT3 was delivered from the factory with only the bare essentials and weight saving also played a role in the barely present bottom preservation. To keep the car in top condition, this needs to be addressed periodically.
Our opinion
The 996 GT3 had normal depreciation in its early years, but it was soon found out that it really is something special. Prices soared to great heights after which another decline set in. Meanwhile, 996 GT3 has regained the upward trend and is itself starting to get close to the 997 GT3, partly because of the unfiltered driving experience with only ABS as an aid. A fantastic driving machine and the true successor to the 964 and 993 RS. Still somewhat affordable now, but genuine, damage-free examples like this one are now very scarce. Especially as an original Dutch-delivered car.
Equipment
The car has the following options ex-factory:
- Leather Recaro seats
- Air conditioning
- Radio
Modifications
None, this Porsche is completely original and damage-free.
Notes
The car is in very good condition and has no track history as far as we know. A few minor signs of use and the right door has been repainted due to a scratch. Last year fitted with new Michelin PS2 with N-coding. Last service was carried out 1,500km in July 2023 by Porsche specialist

About the seller
Next to the GT3 is also a 1M and an E46 M3. Also in fantastic condition. As an entrepreneur with a rapidly growing business, there is hardly any time to drive and the GT3 stands more than it is used. Nik has decided to sell the GT3 to a new enthusiast through The Collectables.
