Porsche 991 MK2 Carrera 4 Cabriolet

Open cars don't always get prettier, but it's a different story with the 991 Cabriolet. The fabric hood of a 991 MK2 is so sleek that when closed, the coupé line shows off beautifully. This example is a post-facelift Carrera 4 Cabriolet. That means you not only have an extra 20 hp and 60 Nm over the Mk1, but also much more torque at low revs. That puts you at 370 hp and 450 Nm. Thanks to PDK and all-wheel drive, you have 100 km/h on the clock in 4.7 seconds.  Of course, the MK2 had many other changes like sleek bumpers, a modified steering wheel and, for the versions with Sportchrono, the dial on the steering wheel instead of the centre console! Apart from a nice torque, the turbo engine has a nice wide rev range where it effortlessly revs over 7000 rpm. Especially with the hood open a great experience, especially when combined with the fitted sports exhaust.

The 991 MK2 Cabriolet offered here comes with almost everything that makes a 911 greedy. Besides the aforementioned sports exhaust, a set of beautiful black 20-inch rims, the full infotainment package with Apple Carplay. Furthermore, Carrera 4 is nothing short of both luxury and sportiness. See the attached option list. The car was picked up by the first owner himself at the factory in Zuffenhausen and was registered in the Netherlands a year later. In the Netherlands, the car had 2 private owners and was traded in on a 992.

Our opinion

The great thing about this car is that it is an excellent all-rounder. In addition, it is a super-complete car that is in perfect condition and has been neatly maintained. Compared to the ‘S’, you might miss a bit of power, but we think that's a side issue for a convertible.
