Can I cancel or retract my bid?
No, you can't. A bid is legally binding. You are also reminded of this prior to confirming your bid. This means that in the event that you are the highest bidder (and the 'reserve' has been met), you will be liable for the commission (6% of the bid with a minimum of 300 EUR) as well as buying the car for the bid amount. The seller can press legal charges if he so desires in the event that you are not finalizing the purchase of the Collectable timely.
Irrespective of a possible minimum sales price ('reserve'), it is in the seller's right to accept a bid during or following the auction duration.
