Expected - Bentley Flying Spur W12
If you want to blast down the Autobahn in style at 314kmh, the Bentley Flying Spur with its W12 Biturbo might be the best choice. Bentley has always focused on making huge sedans, coupes and convertibles. At 5.30 metres long, the Continental Flying Spur was only 9 centimetres shorter than the top-of-the-range Arnage model, but quite a bit more modern. The Arnage was a classic (Rolls Royce-derived) Bentley with its (antique) 6.75 V8 and rear-wheel drive. The Flying Spur, in addition to the 6.0 W12, has permanent all-wheel drive and a much more modern interior. Unfortunately, the older Bentleys are often poorly maintained and kept in drive where quality leaves much to be desired. Joining us next week is a top specimen serviced from A to Z at Bentley with all the bills attached.
