A roadster is the prime example of a car that you don't need, but certainly want. Especially if it's a roadster from BMW. The Z4 E89 is a car that lends itself perfectly for relaxed cruising, but also for more dynamic driving. With the long nose and short rear end, the Z4 has the classic roadster proportions that are rarely seen on modern cars. This Z4 sDrive28i has covered less than 130.000 km and is of course in great condition.
The Z4 E89 was the next car in the line of the Z3 and Z4 E85. Despite the fact that both were roadsters from BMW these were quite different cars. With the E89 BMW once again chose a slightly different path. Instead of separately offering a coupe and a convertible, BMW combined these two in one car. The Z4 E89 therefore has a rectractable hardtop. This means the roof is stronger, the interior is quieter and on top of that, this convertible looks like a beautiful coupé with the roof closed.
Chassis-wise, it is a different kind of car than its precedessor as well. The Z4 E85 was quite hard, this E89 is more comfortable. This makes the E85 is a very nice cruiser, especially in combination with the 8-speed automatic that this car is equipped with. However, when there are some nice corners ahead, there is also plenty of 'Freude am Fahren' to experience with your fingers on the paddle shifters. This is a BMW after all.
The Z4 sDrive28i has a 2,0 liter four-cylinder that produces 245 hp with two turbos. This makes this version faster than the six-cylinder sDrive30i. In just 5,7 seconds you can see 100 km/h appear on your speedometer. This 28i is not only faster than the 30i, but also more fuel-efficient, which is a nice bonus.
The Z4 is a fun car in the first place, but can also be used as a daily car, with its hardtop and automatic transmission. This example also is equiped with a long list of options with, among other things, heated sports seats, a multifunctional heated steering wheel and Park Distance Control. The 'Walnuss' leather and the ash wood finish on the dashboard make the interior an even nicer place to be.
This example has had two owners in Germany, before it was exported to the Netherlands in March. Due to personal circumstances, the current owner unfortunately has to sell the car after owning it for just a few months. This gives someone else the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful Z4 which has covered just under 128.200 km. The car is in great condition and the maintenance history with invoices is present. Summer is still in full swing, so grab your chance!
