One of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful design of the past decades. Don't take it from us, but from designer Walter de'Silva. He drew, among other things, the Alfa Romeo 156, but he was most proud of the Audi A5. The coupé is one of the highlights of Audi in recent decades.
The RS5 is the top of the series with quite a few changes to emphasize the sporty character. The RS5 has a wider body, a so-called widebody. Not only the front and rear bumpers are different, the sheet metal of the wheel arches is also “knocked out”. Its shape is inspired by the ur-quattro of the eighties.
Furthermore, the singleframe grille has been adapted with an anthracite gray honeycomb interior. Also recognizable are the matt aluminum mirror caps and the moldings around the grille and side windows. At the rear, as with all Audi RS models, the characteristic oval exhausts can be found.
There are two more fun facts to report about the Audi RS5: first, there is the barely visible spoiler that comes out at 120 km / h and collapses again at 80 km / h. In addition, the fuel filler flap is also different, only a round fuel flap is fitted for the RS5. The highlight of the RS5 can of course be found in the front. So they make them no longer applies here.
The atmospheric block is 4.2 liters in size and can rotate 8,250 revolutions per minute. Striking through the gears is a real thrill. The 450 hp and 430 Nm strong 4.2 V8 let the RS5 sprint to 100 in 4.5 seconds. The top speed is limited to 250 km / h.
