The Cayman GT4 might be the ultimate driver's car from Porsche. Being more compact than the 911 and with better weight distribution than its big brother, the Cayman's underpinnigs are actually better. The demand for the 981 Cayman GT4 was therefore very high right from the start. This car is perfectly specced in Dark Blue Metallic, with the Club Sport package, Sport Chrono package, ceramic brakes and the Porsche 918 Spyder bucket seats.
The Cayman GT4 was introduced in 2015 as the ultmatie version of the 981-generation Cayman. Porsche outdid themselves by taking an already very good car to the next level. They used a modified version of the 3.8 liter six-cylinder boxer from the 911 Carrera S. The front suspension and steering come straight from the 911 GT3. Because of the different engine layout, the rear suspension has been specially developed for the Cayman GT4.
This resulted in something that Porsche actually wanted to avoid: the 385 hp Cayman GT4 comes dangerously close to the 911. Porsche has deliberately given the GT4 less power than a 911 Carrera S (which has 400 hp). In terms of experience, the Cayman is barely inferior to a 991 GT3. While Porsche did not deliver the 991 GT3 Mk1 with a manual gearbox, the GT4 always has a manual gearbox. This also indicates what kind of car the GT4 is: a driver's car in its purest form. The car therefore recieved nothing but praise from the car press.
This example is equiped with the Club Sport package, which means that you have a half roll cage, a six-point seat belt and a fire extinguisher on board. This car is also equipped with ceramic brakes (PCCB), the Sport Chrono package, a sports exhaust system and full bucket seats.
About the exterior: this car is finished in Dark Blue Metallic, a beautiful color that you rarely see on the GT4. Taste is personal, but with the gray rims and yellow brake calipers, this GT4 is very well specced. In the interior there are alcantara and carbon parts to put you in the right mood. The bucket seats with the bright red six-point belts make it very clear: this is not a regular Cayman.
This car has only 20.500 kilometers on the odometer and has always been serviced at the Porsche dealer. This Cayman is therefore as good as new.

About the seller
The seller was looking for the ultimate driver's car. He found it with this Porsche Cayman GT4. The seller is a real 'Porschist'. In addition to the GT4, he also owns a 914/6 GT, a 911 ST and a Cayenne for daily use.
Recently, a dream came true when he was able to drive the GT4 on the new Zandvoort circuit during a Porsche Track Experience. This was the first, but also the last trackday the owner did with this car, by the way. As far as known, the previous owners were no 'track tigers' either, apart from the occasional Porsche Track Experience (highly recommended for the next owner). The GT4 is going to leave the garage because the car is not being used enough.
