An original Dutch-delivered M3, straight from the third owner who has owned this BMW for almost 5 years. Stylishly finished in Black-sapphire metallic which means only those in the know can see that this is a four-door not to be underestimated, with 431hp and 550Nm of torque. This M3 was delivered in the introduction year of the F80 generation (2014), making this one of the first models delivered in the Netherlands.
The latest generation M3 has a rather 'distinct' design, in which, by comparison, the design of the previous (F80) generation is still quite modest. By M3 standards, that is. That makes it a car perfectly suitable for business use. Of course, enthusiasts will recognise an M3 out of thousands, but meanwhile no one will take offence.
Understated or not, to drive an M3 like this one is still a Beast of a car. The twin-turbo six-in-line produces a total of 431 hp and you have access to 550 Nm of torque. Performance? From standstill at 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. Top speed is capped at 250 km/h as standard.
These days, a new generation is usually heavier than the previous one, but the M3 F80 was actually lighter than its predecessor. And this, while the car did get a bit bigger.
The F80 is the sixth generation M3 and was introduced in 2014 at the Detroit Motor Show. With this generation, BMW only made a the sedan version available for the M3, the coupé and convertible versions were from now on given the M4 logo.
This specific M3 is therefore one of the first M3s delivered in the Netherlands. Naturally always serviced by the dealer or BMW specialist, with a low mileage of 34,900 km for its age. In addition, the car is finished in the incognito colour Black-sapphire metallic.
Our opinion
It's a BMW and it's an M3, which in itself says it all. BMW has just given the current M3 generation a facelift as its appearance was somewhat too 'outspoken', but as far as we are concerned, an F80 really remains the most balanced modern M3 in terms of design.
This particular car has been demonstrably well maintained, is stylishly executed and is still almost like new. You would almost put it away in a collection.
The M3 has an AC Schnitzer exhaust fitted (original exhaust is present). In addition, the bonnet was re-sprayed once because of stone chips.

About the seller
The current owner is a true BMW enthusiast, besides this M3 he also owns a Z4 3.5i. Naturally, an M3 had to be added at some point. However, after buying one, it turned out that the car was left in the garage more often than expected. A convertible simply proved more suitable for Sunday afternoon drives, so the Z4 got priority every time. This of course ensures low mileage but is also a shame, which is why, after almost 5 years, the M3 may go to another enthusiast.
