As far as we know, only 1100 were built!

Once upon a time, it started with the fastest sedan on sale. The BMW E28 M5 started with a fat 286-hp engine from the M1, some subtle body modifications and a modified suspension. Followed by the E34 with eventually a 3.8-litre with 340 hp that was even available as a touring car.
The third generation, of course, added to that with a fat 5-litre V8 and 400bhp. Finally, there came the über M5 with 5-litre V10 and SMG transmission in the E60 series.
With the F10, things went downhill in terms of capacity and cylinders. Partly forced by emissions requirements, the 4.4-litre V8 was fitted with 2 turbos and produced 560hp and 680NM of torque.
Finally, the 5th-generation F90 hit the scene in 2017. As it stands, the last M5 without electric (hybrid) drive. Initially offered as a "normal" M5 with 600hp, an "upgrade" was soon available in the form of the Competition with 625hp. 
In 2021 came the latest evolution of the F90 as a CS version with just 35hp extra (635hp and 750NM of torque), but also with 116kg less weight than the standard M5 as a result of a carbon diet. Available in just 3 colours of which the Frozen Deep Green Metallic stands out, especially when combined with the Gold Bronze forged wheels and other CS details in that colour.Anyway, the details on the CS are fantastic. Open the carbon bonnet and you can see the M5 CS logo in the hood. Mirrors, seats, the roof, the sills, everything has been thought about in detail.
All in all, it makes for very impressive performance: to 100 km/h in 3.0 sec, 7 sec later at 200 km/h and a limited top of 305 km/h. 
 
The M5 CS we offer comes directly from the first owner and, since there wasn't much choice of options with the M5 CS at the time, has a modest "extra-list". The only things ticked as options are the individual Deep Frozen green colour, ceramic control knobs heater panel and TV function plus. The car comes from Germany, does not yet have a Dutch registration number and is therefore offered excluding residual BPM of over 20,000. An additional advantage is that the car is attractive for business use, as it is a VAT car. Bids are therefore inclusive of VAT and exclusive of residual BPM.
This M5 CS is still a virgin and has had 1 service at the German BMW dealer.

Our opinion

Probably the last M5 without an electric motor (or at least without electrical support). You really must have one. The colour and the gold-bronze details complete it. A car with supercar performance that you can just sit in with four people and set a new record on the Nordschleife. But also a car you can just let your mother-in-law run errands in.
Soon it will probably all be a thing of the past. Grab your chance!

About the seller

The seller is well known in the BMW M world. He has made his mark here and decided to buy this ultimate bolide. The idea was to use the car for some track work as well, but the current owner changed his mind about that. He thinks that is a waste of such a collector's item like this. To make room for a real track weapon, this M5 CS may leave for a new enthusiast.

Notes

The current owner has only driven the car a few kilometres after picking it up. Apart from very light signs of use such as minimal stone chips and obviously some tyre wear, the car is as good as new.
