The Targa version of the 991 is perhaps the most attractive version of the entire range. This Targa 4 GTS Mk2 is the fastest version of the 991 Targa, with 450 hp and 550 Nm of torque. It has 66,100 km on the odometer and comes with Porsche Approved warranty.
The Porsche 993, 996 and 997 Targa did not look very different from the coupé, but that changed with the 991 Targa. With this car, Porsche brought back the iconic anti-roll bar. This made the Targa instantly a lot more desirable.
The 911 Targa has the classic looks, but not the disadvantages of the classic Targa. Back in the day the targa roof still had to be removed by hand, but in the 991 it's just a press of a button. When you do so, the Targa roof disappears elegantly under the beautifully curved rear window.
This example is the fastest version of the 991 Targa, the GTS. Moreover, this is the Mk2. This means that in this Targa, you'll have no less than 450 bhp and 550 Nm of torque at your disposal. Thanks to all-wheel drive, PDK and Launch Control, you can reach 100 km/h in just 3,7 seconds. This puts this 991 Targa on par with the 997 Turbo.
With the GTS, you have all the extras that make the 991 Carrera extra sporty. Think of the Sport Chrono package, a sports exhaust, active dampers (PASM) and dynamic engine mounts (PADM). This car is also equipped with the 18-way adjustable sports seats, ParkAssist and Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus, and more. In short: it is very well equipped.
Executed in Chalk Grey with the black accents, this gives this 911 a distinct but sportive look, befitting a GTS. There is a total of 66,100 km on the odometer and the car has a Porsche Approved warranty until March 2023.
This Collectable will be auctioned without a reserve price (No Reserve). The highest bidder is therefore also the winner of this auction and can add this Porsche 991 Targa GTS to his or her garage.
Our opinion
We are already fans of the Targa version of the 991. And Porsche's GTS versions are always the perfect combination of performance, everyday practicality and options. So a 991 Targa in GTS version is a winning combination from the start.
This particular 911 is also finished in Chalk and comes with a Porsche Approved warranty, which puts it right at the top of the wish list. The last chance before the summer to become the owner of an ultimate Porsche and head south with a blissful smile.

About the seller
The owner has a broad taste for cars. This is evident from the fact that his current fleet consists of a Volkswagen T2 with 2.7 engine, an Audi e-tron, a Mercedes G 55 AMG and a Jeep Commander. His heart, however, lies with Porsche. In the past, he has owned a 993 Carrera 2, a 997 GT3, a 997 Turbo Cabrio and a 991 GT3, among others. In the meantime, he has arrived at this 991 Targa GTS Mk2. The coming period he will focus on the restoration of his T2, but after that there will probably be an air-cooled 911 'Outlaw' back in the garage.
