An original Dutch delivered and well-documented Porsche 911 from 1975. This may safely be considered rare. A neat car that previously had only 4 owners.
In 1973 the "F-model" (also called archetype) of Porsche gave way to the "G-model". Besides an upgraded engine, the new generation had also received a larger budget for safety measures. This was also necessary to allow the G-model to be delivered in America as well.
The 911 offered here is still one of the first with the narrow hips, building on the early 911s. A few years later, the hips got wider and wider, and the turbo body added to that. The G-model is the longest remaining model of the 911 in production. No less than 16 years the model, in several variations, remained on sale.
The version offered here has 156 horsepower. By today's standards, that seems little, but as we know, at Porsche, horsepower counts double. Feelingly, it seems like a lot more, which is partly caused by the low weight of just over 1000 kilos, which can also be read on the original paper registration certificate. A contemporary VW Up GTi even weighs more.
This first series G-model is immediately recognizable by the chrome exterior mirror, which were replaced by the electrically adjustable "flap ears" in model year 76. Also characteristic of the G model were the higher-set bumpers, with black fenders. Fortunately, the classic 911 silhouette remained intact in the production of this model. But beyond that, of course, it's all about the driving experience, which in this early 911 is enormous. It is still real work to elicit performance from the car and the steering is adventurous. With the right driver on board, however, capable of high cornering speeds.

The 911 offered here has a verifiable mileage of 238,000 km, which is less than 5,000 km per year. Since the Porsche began to show some minor spots after more than 40 years, the current owner had the car completely addressed. This is fully documented. The engine has not been overhauled, but thanks to good maintenance and knowledgeable drivers it runs like a charm. To top it all off, the car has been fitted with blue license plates, so that the whole period look is also correct. In addition, the 911 stands on Fuchs rims surrounded by Michelin tires. Again, a sign that no savings were made.
The current owner has enjoyed his 911 for over 7 years. Now it is time for something else, no more 911 but a camper to get out and about. He hopes the new owner will enjoy it as much as he did.
Our opinion
An untouched specimen. You don't see those very often and then also original Dutch with a full history. Unfortunately, a lot of cars have been destroyed due to poor maintenance or overestimated driving skills. Until recently an undervalued car, but now it has obtained the classic status it deserves, especially in this condition.
