When an X5, M-Class, Cayenne or Q7 is too ordinary, what do you choose? Right, Italian temperament in a chic colour combination, neatly finished and with a great-sounding V6 Biturbo. The iconic trident has adorned this legendary brand's SUV since 2016 and was inspired by the 2011 ‘Kubang’ prototype. Ferrari's 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine delivers 430 hp in this sportier variant the ‘Levante S’ that is further equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission and with the Maserati Q4 all-wheel drive system. Maserati's history goes back further than almost any other Italian brand. The Maserati company needs no introduction among car enthusiasts. Founded in 1914 in Bologna by the six Maserati brothers. Initially manufacturers of batteries and spark plugs, the company became a constructor of racing cars in 1926. By the 1950s, Maserati had already built a modest number of sports cars, but that was not enough to keep the factory profitable. Many sports cars followed until Maserati developed the mother of supersedans; the 4-door Quattroporte. A model that is still in production today and is now on its 6th series. In March 2016, Maserati decided to step into the booming SUV segment and introduced the Levante. A diesel was even available for some time and later thick V8 engines were added.

The Levante we offer is equipped with the V6 S engine with 430hp, mated to an 8-speed ZF gearbox that sends power to the Q4 drive system. A full-fledged SUV, in other words! The Levante is from Germany, has a beautiful classic colour combination of Blu Emozione metallic and beautiful brown leather. Over 90,000km on the odometer and neatly maintained at the dealer and specialist and recently fitted with 4 new tyres. As the current owner also works in Germany, the car is still registered in Germany (for business purposes) and the VAT can therefore be settled. As far as can be seen, this Levante has just about all the options that make life nice and pleasant.

Our opinion

As already indicated, a Levante is a fresh newcomer in the existing SUV segment. A car that exudes emotion but certainly does not come across as gaudy. Fast, good steering and of course a fantastic exhaust sound! The interior is modern yet features classic details such as the oval Maserati clock and the large gearshift paddles behind the steering wheel that emphasise sportiness

About the seller

The current owner enjoys driving fun, sporty and special cars. As he works and drives largely in Germany, this car is registered in Germany. As he is switching to a more tax-favourable Hybrid model (in Germany), he has decided to sell the Maserati through The Collectables.

Remarks

This Maserati is in very good condition. Only a few normal signs of use are visible and meanwhile the Maserati is on as good as new special Pirelli All-season tyres. In the past, both sides have been painted due to cosmetic damage. The last maintenance took place 4 months ago at 86,000km.
