With a Porsche Cayman driving pleasure is always guaranteed, but the Cayman S is even more fun. We dare to say that the Cayman S is a better driver's car than many sports cars with a higher price tag. This specific example comes from the second owner and is equipped with, among other things, the Sport Chrono package and PASM.
With the second generation Boxster, Porsche also introduced a version for non-convertible enthusiasts: the Cayman. With this, Porsche had a two-seater coupé for the first time in a very long time. Usuallt the convertible version is more expensive, but Porsche positioned the Cayman above the Boxster in terms of price.
The Cayman was given a unique side profile, thanks to its fastback body style. This distinguishes the Cayman not only from the Boxster, but also from the 911. With the mid-engine layout, the Cayman also distinguishes itself technically from its bigger brother.
Thanks to this layout and the acclaimed chassis, a base Cayman is already a very entertaining car. This example is even nicer because we are dealing with a facelifted Cayman S. This means that the naturally aspiratd boxer engine produces no less than 320 hp. That's 25 horsepower more than the pre-facelift Cayman S and 55 horsepower more than the base Cayman.
Where the Cayman first had a five-speed gearbox, all Caymans after the facelift - and therefore this one as well - are equipped with the six-speed gearbox as standard. Furthermore, the design has been refreshed, with a more sleek front bumper, different headlamps and taillights and two round exhaust tailpipes. The facelift version is not only faster and better, but also a lot rarer than the version before the facelift.
This particular example is finished in Basalt Black. For the sporty edge, the car is equipped with, among other things, the Sport Chrono package and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). At the same time, this Cayman S with cruise control and electrically adjustable and heated seats can also be used perfectly as a daily driver.
The car has covered 188.100 km, but the engine has run less kilometers. It was replaced under warranty by Porsche at 58.676 km (see Service history).

About the seller
Everyone dreams of owning a Porsche, but the owner of this Cayman made that dream come true. He took the chance when he came across this Cayman S. According to him, the 911 is the icon, but the Cayman is the best driver's car. We're not going to argue with that. Because the owner wants to make a large purchase (a house) in the near future, he is now selling the Cayman.
